General Booking Questions
Fully Furnished Vacation Rentals
How do I check availability?
Select the calendar of the property you are interested in for your stay. Select check in and view open dates. Select from available dates. Please note we have a 3-night minimum for Gulfport and 6-night for Madeira Beach.
Do you need a deposit to book?
There is no deposit for stays under 30 days. Stays 30 days and over, we require a 30 day deposit or you can pay the full amount up front.
How do you process payments?
An invoice will be issued through Stripe and you will be able to pay securely through their portal.
What is your cancellation policy?
- Grace period: guests should cancel within 48 hours after the reservation was made and at least 14 days before check-in to get a full refund
- Guests should cancel at least 30 days before check-in to get a full refund
- If cancelled between 7 and 30 days before check-in, the guest pays 50% of the booking cost
- If cancelled less than 7 days before check-in, there’s no refund

What is the booking process?
- Select which of our properties you are interested in booking
- Select the dates you are interested in booking and # of guests
- Review total fees – Click on Book Now
- Who’s Coming – provide First Name/Last Name, Email, Phone and review House Rules & Cancellation policy
- Confirm & Pay – Enter card information and select payment option (Pay in Full or 50%)
- Once confirmed you will receive an invoice directly from Stripe secure payment processing
General Questions about PalmBay Getaway Properties
Where are your properties located?
Our properties are conveniently located in the Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg area close to the gulf beaches and other area attractions. Each location has its own personality and both are within walking distance of restaurants, shops, public beach areas and more. Each property is within 20-35 minutes of the Tampa or St. Pete/Clearwater Airports.
What is the average temperature in the area?
Winter – Jan/Mar – High 60s/Low 70s and Lows 50s
Spring – April/June – Mid 70s/Low 80s and Lows 60s
Summer – July/Sept – High 80s/Low 90s and Lows 70s
Fall – Oct/Dec – Highs low 70s and Lows 60s
What are the closest beaches?
- Gulfport has its own public beach on the bay about a mile from the Gulfside Getaway. St. Pete Beach public access is about a 10-15 minute drive.
- MadBay Getaway is conveniently located across the street from one of the main public beach accesses in the area, Archibald Memorial Park Public Beach Access.
What events and activities in the area to you recommend?
There is always something going on around the area. Read our blog for information and recommendations of local area events and attractions.
What should I bring for my stay?
We know you want to focus on the fun and not have to take up space with all those other things so we have included the following at our places:
- Full size hair dryers
- Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Wash
- Beach towels
- Iron/Ironing boards
- Many other little extras to make your stay enjoyable
Do you offer grills at your getsways?
Yes, both locations offer gas grills for an evening barbecue.
Do you offer bikes at your places?
At this time we do not offer bicycles but can make recommendations for local rentals.
Do you allow dogs?
Our Gulfport home is dog friendly. We allow one medium (up to 50 lbs.) or two small dogs. Our Madeira Beach association and community does not allow dogs.
